Her name means "I adore you" in Spanish and truer words were never said! We call her Teá. Teá came to us from Cubanitas in London, England. She arrived in March 2001, at the age of 10 weeks! She did exceptionally well during the plane ride and the car trip from Seattle to Beaverton. We should not have been surprised as travel and adventure were part of her socialization. My worldly little girl traveled the streets of Central London and High Street everyday and even took short visits to other homes to prepare her for the long journey to her new home. Her fine bone structure, soft coat and overall elegance speak to her Cuban pedigree; Playful, curious and extremely athletic, Teá's sweet personality is a key to her charm. Her dame (Basadam Raving Cool Colours) and sire (Oye Chico Ebano of Cubanitas) are both International champions with multiple titles. Teá's pedigree includes an impressive list of |
| Champions. This past April 2004 Oye Chico Ebano of Cubanitas (Chevere) won Best of Breed each of three days becoming a Cuban Champion and Grand Cuban Champion. Teá has had some experience in the AKC and International show rings. She is not presently being shown as we expect to breed her soon. After she has her litter, Teá will re-enter the show ring, soon to join the championship ranks of her dame and sire. | |
