Originally called Morticia, her beautiful shiny black coat, smooth lines and sweet personality were her defining features. As she developed into a stunning adolescent puppy, she was registered as Havadoros Cara Mia. And, let there be no doubt "Cara" Mia stole our hearts.
Canby, Oregon: (June 2007) Cara made her show debut this weekend shown by Lizzy. Cara won her class (Bred-by) on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday she decided that walking on her hind legs around the ring was so much more fun!
Over the next two months, Cara and littermate Apollo alternated wins. Cara finished with 17 points in August 2007.
Portland, OR Stumptown shows: (July 2007) What a weekend it was for us. On Saturday, Cara took Bred By Exhibitor Bitch, Winner’s Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex for a 5 point major! On Sunday Cara took her class, Bred By Exhibitor Bitch, Winner’s Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for a 4 point major! All shown by Lizzy.
Enumclaw, Washington: (August 2007) Another terrific weekend for Havadoros. On Saturday, Cara took the 5 point major. This finished her AKC Championship.
Cara has been at home being a teenager over the last year. Watch for her to hit the show ring as a special in the summer of 2008.
